Light and Lace

Another image from my visitation to a number of Thrift or “Junque” stores the day before yesterday, but this particular store was actually in Gordensville, VA–a small town I passed through on my way back from Ruckersville.

This particular shop was one I’d driven by many times over the years but never went into. The elderly gentleman who owned and ran it had a beautiful old cast iron wood-burning stove heating the place and it was enjoyable chatting with him as we warmed ourselves and listened to the wood crackling as it burned.
